Install VPN Client

A simple guide to installing Love Energy Savings VPN    

 


  1. Download Microsoft authenticator on your phone from the app/play store

  1. Click the link:
    https://10.60.23.254:4443/userportal/webpages/myaccount/login.jsp 



  1. Login using this formatting:
    Username - Forename.Surname@sandown.local 

Password –  (usual windows password) 



  1. Scan the QR code on the login screen using the ‘Microsoft authenticator’ mobile app you downloaded in step 1 and select ‘log in’ on your mobile



  1. On the PC, click ‘Proceed to log in’ on the left and then log in using this formatting:
    Username - Forename.Surname@sandown.local 

Password – Your Usual Password to access computer desktop (i.e. Passcode.1) and the six digit code shown in the Microsoft authenticator app  example  Passcode.1456789





  1. Select the option to ‘Download the client and configuration for Windows


  1. Let IT know you are at this stage now (Ben/Tom) as they have to install the client and configuration just downloaded
  2. You will need to select the ‘traffic light’ icon in the task bar when you click the ‘upwards triangle’ – right click & then click ‘connect’
  3. Log in using this formatting:
    Username - Forename.Surname@sandown.local

Password – Your Usual Password to access computer desktop (i.e. Passcode.1) and the six digit code shown in the Microsoft authenticator app  example  Passcode.1456789




A confirmation message will appear and your VPN has now been activated! -
